Golf Guide Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaway Package Policies

Payment Policies

Packages outside 60 days of travel costing over $300 requires a $100 per person deposit due within 2 weeks of receipt of confirmation. Packages under $300 require a $50 per person deposit.

Final payment is due 45 days prior to the date of travel. Packages reserved within 45 days of departure require payment in full at the time of booking.

We accept the following forms of payment for deposits or full payments: VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS, CHECK, MONEY ORDER, PAYPAL, VENMO, WE TRANSFER OR CASH. Make all checks or payments out to Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways or The Golf Guide.

Refunds

Once vouchers are sent to the customer, refunds will not be processed until all documents are returned to Golf Guide Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways. No refunds will be issued for services provided and not used by the individual.

Weather

UNLESS A GOLF COURSE CLOSES, YOUR TEE TIME IS TO BE HONORED! If the course closes or is deemed unplayable, please have a golf professional or manager sign the voucher and return it to Golf Guide Golf Getaways within 4 to 6 days.

Document Delivery

Travel Documents (Hotel and Golf Vouchers) will be sent approximately 14 days prior to departure, but never before receipt of final payment.

Cancellation Policies

Any cancellation within 8 days of departure: $50 per person. Individual cancellations within a group may affect per person prices quoted and also may create a single room price for a member of the group, thus increasing the per person fee.

Change Policies

Changes made after arrangements have been booked and a confirmation has been mailed will result in the following fees:

• Changing Golf Course $5 per person
• Changing Hotel $5 per person
• Re-issuing of vouchers will result in $50 fee

Group participation numbers can adjust until 30 days prior as a final cutoff date. At such time a rooming list will be prepared and final group reconciliation.

Responsibility & Indemnification

The Golf Guide Inc., DBA Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways, cooperating agents, associated golf courses and hotels shall not be liable for any injury which should occur on a trip through Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways. Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways accepts no responsibility for irregularity, which may be occasioned either by reason of any defect in the company or persons engaging in/or carrying out arrangements of the package. All prices include applicable taxes, but do not include gratuities.

Each party hereby agrees to indemnify, defend and hold the other harmless from any loss, liability, costs or damages arising from actual or threatened claims or causes of action resulting from the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of such party or its respective officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, members or participants (as applicable), provided that with respect to officers, directors, employees, and agents, such individuals are acting within the scope of their employment or agency, as applicable. Guests and golfers (Clients) are responsible for their own conduct and effects at each facility and will hold harmless Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways from any fees associated with violations and warnings provided by any lodging or golf facility or additional services requested that are not included in the advance package. All facilities reserve the right to remove all Client effects remaining after a respective event at the sole cost of the Client and store the same at the Client’s sole expense, with no liability for any aspect of such removal or storage on the part of Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways. In any event, Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways accepts or assumes no liability of any space of such storage or maintenance. Clients are not permitted to bring outside food and beverage items into any meeting/banquet or other public space of a lodging facility with a liquor license. Should outside food and beverage items be found in any public space (outside of sleeping rooms), such items will be required to be removed immediately with the potential with the group leader being assessed a fee of up to $500 per offense. Please help us to protect the lodging facilities from potential liquor license liability suits by enforcing this policy. Clients are also responsible for any incidental charges not covered within the scope of the package and will be required by the lodging facility to provide a credit card for such incidental charges.
